eGift Cards and Physical Gift Cards

You can use up to five Walmart gift cards per order, or combine a gift card with another payment method like a credit or debit card or Pay with Cash.

To use your gift card online:

1. Go to checkout and open the Payment Method section.

2. Select Gift Card.

3. Add a new gift card or choose one already saved to your account.

4. Your gift card(s) will appear in your Purchase Summary as they’re applied.

5. If your order total is less than your gift card balance, the remaining amount stays on your card for future purchases. If your order total is more than your gift card balance, you can pay the difference with another gift card or a credit or debit card.

You’ll need your 16-digit gift card number and PIN. You can check your balance in any of these ways:

• Online using the gift card balance checker

• In a Walmart store

• By phone at 1-888-537-5503

A PIN is a Personal Identification Number unique to your Walmart Gift Card. You can find it on the back of your card, in the bottom-right corner, under the silver scratch-off area.

What if my Walmart gift card doesn’t have a PIN?

If your plastic gift card doesn’t have a PIN:

• You can use it in a Walmart store

• You can’t use it online at Walmart.com

• You can’t check the balance online or by phone

For security reasons, Walmart.com only accepts gift cards with a PIN. If your card doesn’t have one, you can trade it in for a new card with a PIN at any Walmart or Sam’s Club location in the U.S.

Lost or stolen Walmart Gift Cards can’t be replaced. Walmart isn’t responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or for any use of a gift card by someone else, including use through your Walmart.com account.

Keep your Walmart.com account password secure. You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account, so don’t share your password and update it if you think it may be compromised.
