To check compatibility, look for your soundbar's model number in the remote's product description or packaging. Most replacement remotes list supported models, so matching these ensures proper function. If you're unsure, compare the button layout and features with your original remote. You can also review customer feedback for insights on fit. If your soundbar is from a popular brand, universal remotes may offer broad compatibility, but always double-check before purchasing.

• Check the batteries: Replace them with fresh ones and ensure they're installed correctly.
• Clean the contacts: Dust or debris can interfere with performance, so gently wipe the battery compartment.
• Reset the remote: Some remotes have a reset button or require removing batteries for a few minutes.
• Test the remote: Try using it with your soundbar from different distances and angles.

If these steps don't help, consider looking for a compatible replacement remote. Walmart offers a range of options for popular soundbar models.
