XQD cards aren't discontinued, but they're less common than before. Manufacturers have shifted focus to newer formats like CFexpress, which offer faster speeds and broader compatibility. However, you can still find XQD cards and readers for cameras that use them, especially for professional photography and video workflows. If you own a device that relies on XQD, it's a good idea to check compatibility and availability before making a purchase. Walmart offers a range of XQD card readers and accessories to help you keep your equipment running smoothly.

• Some CFexpress card readers support XQD cards, but not all do.
• Compatibility depends on the reader's design and the card type (usually Type B).
• Always check the product description for supported formats before buying.
• If your camera uses XQD cards, look for readers that specifically mention XQD compatibility.
• Walmart's selection includes multi-format readers, so you can find options for both CFexpress and XQD cards.

XQD cards tend to cost more due to their advanced technology and durability. They offer high-speed data transfer and reliability, making them popular for professional photographers and videographers. The specialized design and limited production also contribute to the price. While alternatives like SD or CFexpress are available, XQD cards remain a solid choice for demanding workflows. If you're looking for value, consider your device's requirements and the benefits of XQD before purchasing.
