Choosing the right size wall clock depends on where you want to hang it and how visible you want it to be. For smaller rooms like kitchens or bathrooms, a 10-inch clock is usually a good fit. Larger spaces like living rooms, workshops, or garages may benefit from clocks 12 inches or bigger.

• Measure your wall space before buying.
• Consider how far you'll be from the clock—bigger clocks are easier to read from a distance.
• Think about the decor style and if you want the clock to be a statement piece or blend in.

Silent, non-ticking clocks can be a great choice for workshops, garages, or any space where you want to avoid distractions.

• They use sweep movement mechanisms, so you won't hear the ticking sound.
• This helps maintain a quieter environment, especially if you're focusing on projects or tasks.
• Many designs are also durable and easy to read, making them practical for busy spaces.

Outdoor clocks are designed to withstand weather, but you can absolutely use them indoors if you like their style or need a larger, more rugged clock.

• They often feature waterproof cases and easy-to-read faces.
• Some models include extra features like thermometers or hygrometers.
• Using an outdoor clock inside can add a unique, industrial or retro vibe to your decor.

To hang a heavier wall clock securely, follow these steps:

1. Locate a wall stud using a stud finder for maximum support.
2. Use appropriate hardware like sturdy screws or wall anchors.
3. Check the clock's hanging mechanism—some require hooks, others need brackets.
4. Double-check that the clock is level before letting go.

To keep your workshop clock looking good and working well:

• Dust the surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• If the clock is made of wood or metal, avoid harsh chemicals—use a damp cloth for stubborn spots.
• For glass faces, use a gentle glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth (not directly on the clock).
• Remove the battery before cleaning to avoid accidental movement.
