Many people choose to wear a wig cap during chemotherapy for added comfort and to help keep their wig in place. Wig caps can create a soft barrier between your scalp and the wig, which may be helpful if your skin feels sensitive.

• Look for lightweight, breathable caps to minimize irritation.
• Mesh and nylon caps are popular for their stretch and comfort.
• If you have concerns about skin reactions, consider consulting a medical professional before use.

Wig caps are available in various styles and materials, so you can find one that suits your needs at Walmart.

The ideal wig cap depends on your hair type, comfort preferences, and the look you want.

• Mesh caps are breathable and great for long hair.
• Stocking caps offer a snug fit and help flatten natural hair.
• Ultra-thin caps are nearly invisible and work well for lace front wigs.

Try different styles to see what feels best for you. Wig caps come in various colors to match your skin tone, helping your wig look more natural.

The four finger rule is a simple way to position your wig cap and wig for a natural look. Place four fingers horizontally above your eyebrows; this is where the front edge of your wig cap should sit.

• This helps ensure your wig isn’t too far forward or back.
• Proper placement can make your wig look more realistic and feel comfortable.

Adjust as needed for your unique hairline and head shape, and use a mirror to check the fit.

When styling wigs, it’s important to use the right comb to protect the fibers and maintain the wig’s shape.

• Wide-tooth combs are gentle and ideal for detangling without causing damage.
• Metal bristle combs can help with stubborn tangles and styling synthetic wigs.
• Always start combing from the ends and work your way up to avoid pulling.

Using a comb designed for wigs can help keep your wig looking fresh and extend its lifespan.

Wig combs are small accessories sewn or clipped into wig caps to help anchor your wig to your natural hair.

• They grip your hair gently, reducing movement and slippage.
• Combs come in different sizes and materials, like steel or plastic, to suit various wig styles.
• Some wig caps feature built-in combs for added convenience.

Using wig combs can make your wig feel more secure, especially during active days or special occasions.
