To check if your phone fits in a waterproof case, look for the case's size specifications—usually listed in inches or compatible models.

• Measure your phone's length and width, including any existing case.
• Compare those measurements to the product details.
• Some cases are universal and fit a range of devices, while others are designed for specific models.

Double-check before buying to avoid disappointment, and remember that larger cases can offer extra space for cards or small accessories.

Most waterproof phone pouches are designed to let you use your touchscreen through the clear material.

• Basic functions like swiping, tapping, and taking photos usually work well.
• Wet conditions or thick screen protectors might reduce sensitivity.
• Fingerprint sensors may not work through the pouch.

For best results, make sure your hands and the pouch are dry before using your phone. Always test the pouch before heading out to ensure it meets your needs.

The IPX8 and IP68 ratings both indicate strong water resistance, but there are differences:

• IPX8: Tested for immersion in water, usually up to 1 meter or more, but doesn’t specify dust protection.
• IP68: Offers both dust and water resistance, with water protection often up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes or more.

Check the product description for details on depth and duration. If you need dust protection as well as waterproofing, IP68 is a more comprehensive rating.

After swimming, it’s a good idea to rinse your waterproof phone case with fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, or sand.

• Open the case and remove your phone.
• Rinse the case gently under running water.
• Let it air dry completely before storing or reusing.

Avoid harsh chemicals or scrubbing, as these can damage seals. Regular cleaning helps maintain the waterproof integrity and keeps your case looking new.

Many waterproof phone pouches have extra space for small items like cards or cash.

• Check the product description for double-space or multi-compartment features.
• Keep items flat to avoid stressing the seal.
• Be mindful that overstuffing may affect waterproof performance.

It’s handy for travel, beach days, or pool outings, but always test the pouch before use to ensure everything stays dry.
