Choosing the right spray bottle size depends on what you plan to use it for. Here are a few things to consider:

• Small bottles (under 10 oz): Great for travel, hair styling, or misting plants.
• Medium bottles (10–24 oz): Handy for everyday cleaning or watering tasks around the house.
• Large bottles (over 24 oz): Useful for bigger cleaning jobs or commercial use, so you refill less often.

Think about how much liquid you’ll need and how often you want to refill. If you’re not sure, a medium size is a good place to start.

Most trigger sprayer bottles are designed to handle common household cleaning solutions. Many are made from chemical-resistant plastic or glass, which helps them work with a variety of cleaners. However, always check the product details to make sure the bottle is compatible with the solution you plan to use. Avoid mixing strong chemicals, and rinse the bottle thoroughly between different uses to help prevent unwanted reactions or residue buildup.

Keeping your spray bottle clean helps it last longer and work better. Here’s a simple way to do it:

1. Empty any leftover liquid and rinse the bottle with warm water.
2. Add a mix of mild dish soap and water, then spray it through the nozzle a few times.
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, spraying again to clear out the tube and nozzle.
4. Let all parts air dry before refilling.

Regular cleaning can help prevent clogs and keep your bottle in good shape for different uses.

Many trigger sprayer bottles are suitable for watering or misting plants, especially if they’re labeled as BPA-free or chemical-resistant. Just make sure the bottle is clean and hasn’t been used for harsh chemicals before using it on plants. Adjustable nozzles can help you control the spray, making it gentle enough for delicate leaves. Always rinse thoroughly if switching from cleaning solutions to plant care.

If your spray bottle nozzle gets clogged, try these steps:

• Remove the nozzle and soak it in warm, soapy water for a few minutes.
• Use a small brush or toothpick to gently clear any debris.
• Rinse well and spray clean water through the nozzle to check if it’s clear.

Regular cleaning can help prevent clogs. If the nozzle still doesn’t work, check if replacement parts are available for your bottle model.
