Toploaders are hard plastic sleeves designed to protect trading cards from bending, scratches, and everyday handling. They're popular among collectors for storing sports cards, gaming cards, and other collectibles. Using a toploader helps keep cards in good condition, which is important for maintaining their value and appearance. Many collectors pair toploaders with soft sleeves for extra protection. They're also handy for displaying cards or transporting them safely to events or trades. If you're starting out, toploaders are a simple way to keep your favorite cards safe and looking great.

Choosing the right size toploader depends on the thickness and dimensions of your trading cards.

• Standard trading cards usually fit in 3" x 4" toploaders with a 35pt thickness.
• Thicker cards, like memorabilia or premium cards, may need larger point sizes (e.g., 55pt, 100pt, or more).
• Always check your card's measurements before buying to ensure a snug but not tight fit.

Yes, toploaders are versatile and commonly used for both Pokémon cards and sports cards.

• They fit most standard-sized cards, making them suitable for a wide range of collectibles.
• For extra protection, many collectors place cards in a soft sleeve before inserting them into a toploader.
• Toploaders help prevent bending, creasing, and surface scratches during storage or transport.

To store cards in toploaders safely, follow these tips:

1. Place your card in a soft sleeve first to reduce friction.
2. Insert the sleeved card gently into the toploader, avoiding force.
3. Store toploaders upright in a card box or binder designed for toploaders to keep them organized and protected from dust and sunlight.

To clean a toploader, use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the surface.

• Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch the plastic.
• If needed, a small amount of water or mild soap can help remove fingerprints or smudges—just make sure the toploader is completely dry before reinserting your card.
• Never submerge a toploader with a card inside.
