Temp Pro and ThermoPro are closely related, as many Temp Pro thermometers were formerly branded as ThermoPro. The products maintain similar features and quality, but the branding has changed on some models. You might notice both names on packaging or product listings during this transition. If you're looking for replacement parts or support, it's helpful to check both names to find compatible accessories or instructions. For the most accurate information, refer to the product's manual or the details listed on Walmart's site.

To reset your ThermoPro thermometer, follow these general steps:

• Locate the reset or calibration button, usually found near the battery compartment or on the device's body.
• Press and hold the button for a few seconds until the display resets or shows calibration mode.
• Refer to your specific model's manual for detailed instructions, as steps can vary.

Resetting can help if your thermometer isn't reading accurately. Always ensure the device is clean and the batteries are fresh before troubleshooting further.

Yes, many Temp Pro and ThermoPro thermometers are suitable for candy making, especially models labeled as "candy thermometers." These typically feature high-temperature ranges, waterproof probes, and pot clips for hands-free use. When making candy, it's important to use a thermometer that can handle high heat and provide quick, accurate readings. Always check the product description to confirm it's designed for candy or deep frying, and follow safety instructions to avoid burns or spills.
