Choosing the right laptop size depends on how and where you'll use it most. Here are a few things to consider:

• Portability: If you travel often or need something lightweight, a 13-14 inch laptop can be easier to carry.
• Screen Space: For tasks like gaming, design, or multitasking, a 15-17 inch screen offers more room to work comfortably.
• Workspace: Think about your desk or bag size—larger laptops may need more space.

At Walmart, you can filter laptops by screen size to find one that fits your needs.

When you’re looking for a laptop for school or work, consider these helpful features:

• Memory (RAM): 8GB or more helps with multitasking and running multiple programs smoothly.
• Storage: SSDs (Solid State Drives) offer faster performance and quick file access.
• Battery Life: Longer battery life is great for working on the go.
• Keyboard Comfort: A backlit keyboard can make typing easier in low light.
• Webcam & Wi-Fi: Built-in webcams and Wi-Fi 6 support help with video calls and fast internet.

Check product details on Walmart.com to compare these features across different laptops.

Many laptops on this page can handle gaming, but performance varies based on hardware. Here’s what to look for:

• Graphics Card: Dedicated graphics cards offer better visuals and smoother gameplay.
• Processor: A powerful CPU helps run games efficiently.
• RAM: At least 16GB is recommended for most modern games.
• Display: High refresh rates (like 120Hz or 240Hz) can make games look more fluid.

Always check the game’s system requirements and compare them with the laptop’s specs before purchasing.

To help your laptop stay in top shape, try these tips:

• Keep it clean: Gently wipe the screen and keyboard with a soft, dry cloth.
• Update software: Regularly install system and security updates.
• Manage storage: Delete unused files and programs to free up space.
• Use a case: Protect your laptop from bumps and scratches when carrying it around.

Following these habits can help maintain your laptop’s performance over time.

If your laptop isn’t powering up, try these steps:

1. Make sure it’s plugged in and the charger is working.
2. Check for any indicator lights or sounds when pressing the power button.
3. Disconnect any accessories (like USB drives) and try again.
4. Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to reset.

If it still won’t start, consult the user manual or reach out to the manufacturer’s support. Walmart’s customer service can also help with returns or warranty questions if you purchased your device here.
