Choosing the right size storage unit depends on what you plan to store and the space you have available.

• Measure the area where you want to place the unit to make sure it fits comfortably.
• Think about the types of items you’ll store—bulky items like bins or tools may need deeper shelves, while books or pantry goods can fit on narrower units.
• Consider adjustable shelves if your storage needs might change over time.

Taking a quick inventory of your items can help you decide which unit will keep your space organized without overcrowding it.

Many storage units are designed for versatile use, including garages and basements.

• Look for units made from metal or heavy-duty plastic, as these materials can handle heavier loads and are less likely to be affected by moisture.
• Check the weight capacity to ensure it matches your storage needs.
• Some units come with wheels for easy movement, which can be helpful in larger spaces.

Always follow the manufacturer’s assembly and safety instructions for best results in different environments.

Keeping your storage unit organized can make finding things much easier.

• Group similar items together, like tools, pantry goods, or cleaning supplies.
• Use bins or baskets to contain smaller items and label them for quick identification.
• Place frequently used items on shelves that are easy to reach, and store seasonal or rarely used items higher up or toward the back.

Regularly tidying up and reassessing what you store can help maintain order over time.

Cleaning your storage shelves is simple and helps keep your space fresh.

• For metal or plastic shelves, start by removing all items and dusting off loose debris.
• Wipe down surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly to prevent moisture buildup.
• Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish or material.

Regular cleaning can help extend the life of your storage unit and keep your items in good condition.

If a part of your storage unit breaks, you may be able to find replacement parts through the manufacturer or by contacting Walmart’s customer service.

• Keep your purchase information handy, as it can help with locating compatible parts.
• Some units have universal components, like wheels or shelf clips, that are easier to replace.
• For unique or specialized parts, reaching out directly to the brand’s support team can be helpful.

Checking the product manual or online resources can also provide guidance on available replacement options.
