Choosing the right walker size is important for comfort and safety. Start by checking the height adjustability—most walkers can be set to match your arm level when standing upright.

• Measure from the floor to your wrist with your arms at your sides.
• Look for walkers that offer adjustable height settings to fit your measurement.
• Consider the width of the walker to ensure it fits through your doorways and hallways.

If you're unsure, you can always ask a store associate for help or consult a healthcare professional for guidance.

Many standing frame walkers are designed to fold, making them easier to transport and store.

• Check if your walker has a folding mechanism, usually located near the handles or seat.
• Folding walkers can fit in most car trunks and closets.
• Always follow the instructions provided with your walker to fold it safely.

If you plan to travel often, look for lightweight models that are easy to carry and unfold.

Keeping your walker clean helps it last longer and stay safe to use.

• Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• Dry thoroughly to prevent rust or water damage.
• Check the wheels and seat for dirt or debris and clean as needed.

Avoid harsh chemicals, as they can damage the finish. Regular cleaning can help keep your walker in good condition for everyday use.

Replacement parts like wheels, grips, and seats are often available for most standing frame walkers.

• Check the product page or packaging for compatible parts.
• Many retailers offer accessories and replacement items online or in-store.
• If you’re unsure about compatibility, reach out to customer service for assistance.

Keeping your walker in good repair can help maintain its safety and functionality.

Adjusting the height of your walker is usually straightforward.

• Locate the adjustment buttons or knobs on the legs.
• Press or turn them to slide the legs up or down to your preferred height.
• Make sure all legs are set to the same level for stability.

Always double-check that the adjustments are secure before use. If you need help, a store associate can walk you through the process.
