Choosing the right size square umbrella depends on your outdoor space and how much shade you want.

• Measure your patio, deck, or seating area to see what fits best.
• Smaller umbrellas (around 6.5-7.5ft) are great for compact spaces or bistro tables.
• Larger options (8ft and up) can cover bigger dining sets or lounge areas.
• Consider the height and whether you need a cantilever or market style for flexibility.

Thinking about how you'll use the space can help you find the perfect fit for your needs.

While many square umbrellas are designed for outdoor use, it's a good idea to store them during harsh weather.

• Heavy rain, snow, or strong winds can damage the canopy and frame.
• Using a protective cover can help extend its life if you leave it outside.
• For long-term durability, consider bringing the umbrella indoors or storing it in a shed during winter months.

Regular care and storage can help keep your umbrella looking great season after season.

Cleaning your square umbrella is simple and helps keep it looking fresh.

1. Brush off loose dirt and debris from the canopy.
2. Mix mild soap with water and use a soft cloth or sponge to gently wipe the fabric.
3. Rinse with clean water and let it air dry fully before closing.
4. For the frame, wipe with a damp cloth and dry to prevent rust.

Regular cleaning can help maintain the umbrella's appearance and function over time.

Square umbrellas can offer stable coverage, but wind conditions are important to consider.

• Look for umbrellas with sturdy frames and multiple ribs for extra support.
• Some models feature vented canopies that help reduce wind pressure.
• Always close the umbrella during strong winds to prevent tipping or damage.

Using a weighted base can also help keep your umbrella secure in breezy spots.

If you need replacement parts for your square umbrella, check the product listing or packaging for details.

• Many umbrellas offer replacement canopies, ribs, or bases through the retailer.
• Contact Walmart's customer service for help locating compatible parts.
• Having your model number handy can make the process easier.

Getting the right parts can help you keep your umbrella in top shape for years to come.
