Split-screen on PS4 games lets two or more players play together on the same console and TV, with the screen divided into sections for each player. This setup is great for co-op or competitive gaming in the same room. Some games offer vertical or horizontal splits, depending on the title. Always check the game's description or packaging to see if split-screen is supported, as not all PS4 games include this feature.

To set up split-screen on your PS4:

1. Start your game and connect a second controller.
2. Sign in a second user profile (can be guest or another account).
3. Look for a 'Multiplayer' or 'Split-Screen' option in the game menu.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to add the second player.

Each game may have slightly different steps, so it's helpful to check the in-game instructions or manual for details.

Some PS4 games allow you to play split-screen locally and also connect online with friends. This means you and a friend can share a screen at home while teaming up or competing with others online. Not all games support this feature, so it's a good idea to review the game's online multiplayer options before purchasing. Game manuals or official websites often list these details.

If split-screen isn’t working, try these steps:

• Make sure the game supports split-screen mode.
• Connect all controllers before starting the game.
• Check for any required updates for your game or system.
• Review the game's menu for split-screen or multiplayer options.

Some games require both players to have profiles signed in. If issues continue, checking the game's support page can provide more troubleshooting tips.

Yes, a few accessories can make split-screen gaming more comfortable:

• Extra controllers are essential for multiplayer sessions.
• A larger TV or monitor can help each player see their section more clearly.
• Headsets allow for private audio, especially in noisy rooms.

These accessories aren’t required, but they can enhance your gaming experience. You can find a variety of gaming accessories at Walmart, both in-store and online.
