Snapware and Pyrex are both part of the same parent company, which means they share some design features and compatibility in certain products. For example, some Snapware Total Solution containers are made with Pyrex glass, combining the durability of Pyrex with Snapware's convenient lids. However, each brand has its own product lines and specialties. If you're looking for containers that feature both, check the product details to see if Pyrex glass is used in the Snapware Total Solution item you're considering.

Most Snapware Total Solution containers made from plastic or glass are designed to be microwave safe, but it's important to always check the packaging or product details for specific guidance. Before microwaving, remove the lid or open any vent to allow steam to escape, which helps prevent pressure build-up. Avoid microwaving empty containers or using them for high-fat foods, as this could cause damage. Following these steps can help you use your Snapware containers safely in the microwave.

Snapware Total Solution containers made with Pyrex glass are generally oven safe, but only the glass portion should go in the oven—never the plastic lids. Always check the product's instructions to confirm the maximum temperature limit. Allow the glass to come to room temperature before placing it in a preheated oven to help reduce the risk of thermal shock. For best results, avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving the container directly from the freezer to the oven.

If you notice mold on your Snapware lids, start by washing them thoroughly with warm, soapy water and a soft brush to reach any grooves. For stubborn spots, you can soak the lids in a mixture of vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, then scrub gently. Make sure the lids are completely dry before storing to help prevent mold from returning. Regular cleaning and ensuring lids are dry after washing can keep your containers fresh and safe for use.

Replacement lids for Snapware Total Solution containers are often available separately, especially for popular sizes and shapes. You can check the product packaging or visit Walmart's website to see if compatible lids are offered. It's helpful to know the size and model of your container to ensure a proper fit. Keeping a few extra lids on hand can extend the life and usefulness of your Snapware food storage collection.
