Some schools have chosen to ban slime kits due to concerns about mess, distractions, and potential allergic reactions. Here are a few reasons:

• Cleanliness: Slime can stick to desks, floors, and clothing, making cleanup challenging in classrooms.
• Focus: Playing with slime during lessons may distract students from learning activities.
• Ingredients: Some slimes contain ingredients that could trigger allergies or skin sensitivities in certain children.

Always check with your school’s policy before bringing slime or slime kits to class, and supervise young children during play at home.

Slime machine prices can vary depending on the type, size, and included accessories. Here’s what to expect:

• Basic Kits: Simple, manual slime kits are generally more affordable and include essential supplies for making slime at home.
• Electric or Automatic Machines: These tend to be priced higher due to added features like automatic mixing or themed accessories.
• Bundle Sets: Larger sets with multiple colors, mix-ins, and tools may cost more but offer greater variety for group play or parties.

For current pricing and deals, check Walmart’s website or app for the latest options.

Slime is often used as a sensory toy, which some parents and educators find helpful for children who benefit from tactile activities. Here’s what to know:

• Playing with slime can offer a calming, hands-on experience that may help some kids focus or self-regulate.
• Every child is different, and results can vary widely.
• Slime is not a medical treatment. For questions about ADHD or sensory needs, it’s best to consult a healthcare professional.

Many families enjoy slime for its creative and sensory play value, but individual experiences will differ.

Most DIY slime recipes use white school glue as a main ingredient, and many popular kits are designed to work with it. Here are a few tips:

• Standard white or clear school glue usually produces stretchy, satisfying slime when combined with an activator.
• Some off-brand or specialty glues may have different formulas and might not work as well.
• Always check the instructions on your slime kit for recommended glue types.

If you’re experimenting at home, start with a small batch to see how your glue reacts.

Slime machines and kits are designed for kids’ creativity, but safety is important. Keep these tips in mind:

• Always supervise young children during slime-making activities.
• Follow all instructions provided with your kit or machine.
• Wash hands before and after playing with slime.
• Keep slime and ingredients away from eyes, mouth, and sensitive skin.
• Store slime and supplies out of reach of pets and small children when not in use.

These steps can help create a fun and safe slime-making experience for everyone.
