Shock Tool(1000+)

Choosing the right shock tool depends on your vehicle type and the job you need to do.

• Check your vehicle's suspension system—some tools are made for cars, others for motorcycles or ATVs.
• Look for compatibility with coil springs or strut assemblies if that's your focus.
• Consider the tool's weight capacity and safety features, like protective sleeves or brackets.
• If you're working in a garage, a kit with a carrying case can be handy for storage and transport.

Always review product details and make sure the tool matches your repair needs.

Many shock tools on this page are designed for both automotive and motorcycle suspension work.

• Look for adjustable spanner wrenches and coil spring compressors that mention motorcycle compatibility.
• Check the tool's size range—some fit smaller spring collars or shock absorbers common on bikes.
• Multi-size kits can be useful if you work on different models.

Always double-check the product description to ensure it fits your motorcycle's specs before purchasing.

Safety is crucial when using a spring compressor.

• Wear protective gear, like gloves and eye protection.
• Secure the tool properly on the spring before applying force.
• Work on a stable surface and avoid standing directly in line with the spring.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for setup and operation.

Taking these precautions can help reduce risks and make your repair job safer.

Keeping your shock adjustment tools in good shape helps them last longer.

• Clean tools after each use to remove dirt and grease.
• Store them in a dry place or in their carrying case to prevent rust.
• Check for wear or damage before each job.
• Lightly oil moving parts if recommended by the manufacturer.

Regular maintenance can help your tools perform reliably for future repairs.

Some shock tool kits may offer replacement parts, like protective sleeves or pins.

• Check the product listing for information about included accessories and replacement options.
• Reach out to Walmart's customer service if you need specific parts for your tool.
• Keeping your kit complete can help ensure safe and effective repairs.
