S-Note markers stand out because they're designed for both highlighting and creative projects. Their chisel tips let you switch between broad highlighting and fine underlining, making them versatile for notes, journaling, or art. Many S-Note markers come in dual-ended versions, offering two tip styles in one marker. Plus, the wide range of colors helps you organize information or add flair to your work. If you want a marker that can handle both studying and creative tasks, S-Note markers offer flexibility in one tool.

Many customers use S-Note markers on standard notebook paper, but results can vary depending on paper thickness. These markers are designed to minimize bleed-through, especially compared to traditional permanent markers. However, on very thin paper, you might notice some shadowing or slight bleed. To get the best results, try testing the marker on a small corner of your page first. Using a backing sheet can also help protect the next page in your notebook.

• Always recap your markers tightly after each use to prevent air exposure.
• Store them horizontally to keep ink evenly distributed.
• Avoid leaving markers in direct sunlight or hot environments, as heat can dry out the ink faster.
• If a marker feels dry, try storing it tip-down for a few hours to help the ink flow back to the tip.

Following these tips can help extend the life of your markers and keep them ready for your next project.

S-Note markers are a popular choice for color-coding because they come in a variety of vibrant shades. The chisel tip lets you highlight, underline, or write, making it easy to organize information visually. Whether you're studying, planning, or journaling, using different colors can help you quickly spot important details. Just remember to let the ink dry for a moment to avoid smudging, especially if you're layering colors or writing on smooth paper.

S-Note markers are designed primarily for paper surfaces, including notebooks, planners, and index cards. They work well on most standard writing papers and sticky notes. For best results, use them on uncoated, non-glossy paper to prevent smearing. While they're not intended for non-porous surfaces like plastic or glass, they can be a great tool for creative projects on cardstock or construction paper. Always test on a small area if you're unsure how the marker will perform on a new surface.
