Decorating the middle of a round table is a great way to add personality to your space. You might choose a vase of fresh flowers, a decorative bowl, or a candle arrangement for a cozy touch. For special occasions, consider a seasonal centerpiece or a small plant. If you're hosting a meal, a serving tray or fruit basket can be both practical and stylish. Just make sure the centerpiece isn't too tall, so guests can see each other easily.

For a 60-inch round table, you'll want a table topper that's slightly larger to allow for some overhang.

• A topper between 70 and 80 inches in diameter usually works well.
• This gives you a nice drape without being too long or too short.
• If you prefer a fitted look, check for toppers specifically designed for 60-inch tables.

Making a table topper at home can be a fun DIY project! Here’s a simple approach:

1. Measure your table’s diameter and decide on the desired overhang.
2. Choose a fabric that suits your decor—cotton, lace, or polyester are popular options.
3. Cut the fabric into a circle, adding extra inches for the overhang.
4. Hem the edges to prevent fraying, or use fabric glue for a no-sew option.

Round tables pair well with round placemats for a cohesive look, but you can also use square or oval placemats for a modern twist.

• Round placemats mirror the shape of your table and help define each place setting.
• Square placemats can create contrast and add visual interest.
• Choose materials like vinyl, fabric, or lace depending on your needs—vinyl is easy to clean, while fabric adds warmth.

If your round table topper tends to slip, here are a few tips:

• Use a non-slip table pad underneath for added grip.
• Opt for toppers with elastic edges or fitted designs.
• Double-sided tape or small table clips can help secure the fabric.
