To check if a replacement remote is compatible with your Roku TV, start by identifying your TV's brand and model. Most remotes on this page are designed for specific brands and types of Roku TVs, but not for Roku streaming sticks or boxes.

• Look for remotes labeled as compatible with your TV's brand (like TCL, Hisense, or Onn).
• Read the product description to confirm it's for "Roku TV" and not for other Roku devices.
• If you're unsure, you can compare your TV's model number with the compatibility list in the product details.

This can help you find a remote that works with your setup.

When choosing a replacement Roku remote, consider which features matter most for your viewing experience.

• Some remotes offer voice control, making it easier to search for shows or adjust settings hands-free.
• Shortcut buttons for popular streaming apps can save time navigating menus.
• Big button designs or backlit keys can be helpful for low-light use or for those who prefer larger controls.
• Check if the remote requires programming or if it's ready to use out of the box.

Reviewing these features can help you pick a remote that fits your needs.

Some universal remotes are designed to control more than one device, including multiple Roku TVs, as well as other electronics like DVD players or sound systems.

• Look for remotes labeled as "universal" or "multi-device." These often have the ability to switch between devices with a button press.
• Keep in mind, setup steps may be required to pair the remote with each TV or device.

Always check the product details to see which devices are supported and if any additional programming is needed.

Setting up a replacement Roku TV remote is usually straightforward.

• For most remotes designed specifically for Roku TVs, you just need to insert the batteries and point the remote at your TV to start using it.
• Some universal or smart remotes may require a simple pairing process or entering a code, which is typically explained in the included instructions.

If you run into any issues, checking the product manual or the manufacturer's website can provide additional guidance.

If your replacement remote isn’t working with your Roku TV, try these troubleshooting steps:

• Double-check that the batteries are fresh and installed correctly.
• Make sure the remote is compatible with your specific Roku TV model.
• Remove any obstructions between the remote and the TV sensor.
• For remotes that require pairing, follow the setup instructions carefully.

If problems persist, reviewing the product’s support materials or reaching out to customer service can help resolve the issue.
