Installing rattan knobs is usually a simple process. Here’s a quick guide:

1. Remove the old knob by unscrewing it from the drawer or cabinet.
2. Align the new rattan knob with the existing hole.
3. Insert the included screw from the inside of the drawer and tighten it into the knob by hand.
4. Make sure the knob feels secure, but avoid over-tightening to protect the woven rattan.

If your furniture doesn’t have pre-drilled holes, you may need basic tools to create one. Always check the included hardware for compatibility with your furniture’s thickness.

Rattan knobs can add a stylish, boho touch to kitchens and bathrooms. However, since rattan is a natural material, it’s best to keep them away from areas with excessive moisture or direct water exposure. If you choose to use them in these spaces, consider wiping them dry if they get wet and avoid placing them near sinks or showers. This can help maintain their appearance and durability over time.

To clean rattan knobs, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away dust and debris. For deeper cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but avoid soaking the rattan as excess moisture may damage the woven material. If needed, a soft brush can help remove dirt from crevices. Always dry the knobs thoroughly after cleaning to help preserve their look and structure.

Rattan knobs are typically designed for light to medium-duty use, such as on dressers, nightstands, or cabinets. While they can handle regular opening and closing, they may not be ideal for very heavy drawers or high-traffic areas. If you’re planning to use them on furniture that holds a lot of weight, check the product details for load recommendations and consider how often the drawer will be used.

Most rattan knob sets available at Walmart include the necessary screws or hardware for installation. It’s a good idea to check the product description to confirm what’s included. If you need extra screws or different sizes for your furniture, you can usually find compatible hardware in the home improvement section. Having the right hardware helps ensure a secure and easy installation.
