Rat pellets can be a practical option for controlling rat populations in homes, garages, or outdoor spaces. Pellets are designed to attract rats and encourage them to consume the bait, which can help reduce infestations. Some pellets are formulated to be non-toxic and pet-safe, while others contain active ingredients for more aggressive control.

• Always follow the product instructions carefully.
• Place pellets in areas where rats are active, but out of reach of children and pets.
• Results may vary depending on the severity of the infestation and the type of pellet used.

There are several types of rat pellets you can choose from, each with unique features.

• Non-toxic pellets: These are pet-safe and designed for humane control.
• Traditional poison pellets: Often used for severe infestations, but require careful placement.
• Repellent pellets: Made with natural ingredients like mint oil to deter rats without harming them.

Safe use of rat pellets is important for protecting your family and pets.

• Place pellets in bait stations or trays to minimize accidental contact.
• Keep pellets away from food, water sources, and areas accessible to children or pets.
• Wash hands thoroughly after handling pellets.
• Check regularly and dispose of unused pellets according to the instructions.

For effective rat control, place pellets in spots where rats are most active. Common locations include along walls, behind appliances, in attics, basements, and garages.

• Look for signs like droppings or gnaw marks to identify high-traffic areas.
• Use bait stations for added safety and to keep pellets contained.
• Check and refresh pellets as needed to maintain effectiveness.

Rats are typically more active at night and may make noises such as scratching, squeaking, or scurrying. If you've placed pellets, you might notice a change in activity as rats interact with the bait.

• Noises can indicate the presence of rats and their movement around baited areas.
• Monitor these sounds to assess if the pellets are attracting rats.
• Reduced noise over time may suggest a decrease in rat activity.
