Choosing the right size primitive panel depends on your window measurements and the look you want.

• First, measure the width and height of your window, including any trim you want to cover.
• For a fuller appearance, consider panels that are 1.5 to 2 times the width of your window.
• Check the product description for panel dimensions and whether the listing is for a single panel or a pair.
• Keep in mind the length—panels can hang just below the sill or all the way to the floor, depending on your style preference.

Taking a few minutes to measure can help you find a great fit for your space.

Primitive panels can add a cozy, rustic touch to many spaces.

• They're popular in living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms for their warm, inviting look.
• These panels also work well in entryways or dining rooms if you want to create a farmhouse or country-inspired vibe.
• Since they're available in various colors and patterns, you can match them to your existing decor or use them as a statement piece.

Ultimately, primitive panels are versatile and can complement both traditional and modern spaces, depending on your style.

Most primitive panel curtains are designed with a rod pocket, making them easy to hang.

• Simply slide your curtain rod through the pocket at the top of the panel.
• Some panels include tie backs or drawstring ties, which you can use to pull the curtains to the side for more light.
• Be sure to check the product details for any included hardware or special instructions.

Hanging is usually straightforward, but using a level can help keep your panels even for a polished look.

Many primitive panel curtains are made from cotton or linen blends, which are often machine washable.

• Always check the care label or product description for specific washing instructions.
• Use a gentle cycle with cold water to help preserve the fabric and colors.
• Air drying or tumble drying on low is usually recommended to prevent shrinkage.

If your panels have special embellishments or finishes, spot cleaning may be suggested. Following care instructions can help keep your curtains looking their best.

Primitive panels typically offer light filtering rather than full blackout.

• They allow some natural light to pass through while providing privacy and reducing glare.
• The amount of light filtered depends on the fabric thickness and color—darker, heavier materials may block more light.
• If you need more light control, you can layer primitive panels with a blackout liner or shade.

This way, you can enjoy the style of primitive panels while adjusting the light level to your preference.
