Think about how and where you’ll use the giant presentation check, then match the size to your setting.

• Photo visibility: For group shots, sizes around 30" x 16" to 36" x 16" tend to read well on camera without blocking faces.
• Portability: Smaller formats (around 13–16" tall by 30–32" wide) are easier to carry and fit in cars.
• Backdrop space: If you’ll stand in front of a step-and-repeat or podium, confirm there’s room to hold it comfortably.
• Material: Rigid boards feel sturdier; cardboard options are lighter. If you want to reuse it, look for a dry erase check surface.

You can choose blank designs or templates with pre-lined fields based on your preference.

With a reusable dry erase check, a few habits can help it look fresh from event to event.

• Use the right markers: Stick to dry-erase markers. Test any new marker in a corner first.
• Clean gently: Wipe with a soft microfiber cloth. If ghosting appears, a small amount of alcohol-free whiteboard cleaner can help.
• Avoid long dwell time: Don’t leave writing on for days; cleaning sooner can reduce staining.
• Protect details: For names or dates, consider removable labels or painter’s tape strips you can swap out.
• Store flat: Keep it flat and out of heat or direct sun to help prevent warping.

Match the paper format and security needs to your printer and accounting setup.

• Layout: Pick check-on-top, middle, or bottom, and 1-up or 3-up micro-perforated sheets to fit your workflow.
• Printer compatibility: Many options work with laser or inkjet printers; verify the listing for your device type.
• Security features: Look for elements like microprint, anti-copy backgrounds, and watermarks. Features vary by product, so review the details.
• Software/bank requirements: Confirm the format your software uses and any bank guidance (some institutions require magnetic ink/toner for the MICR line).
• Paper weight and color: Heavier stocks can feel more durable; choose a color that keeps text readable.

Always store blank check paper securely.

Most check presenters are sized to handle standard restaurant receipts and payment essentials while keeping the handoff tidy.

• Interior storage: Commonly includes a pocket for the receipt, a card sleeve, and a slot or flap to hold cash or tip slips.
• Dimensions: Many measure around 5.5" x 10", offering enough room for POS receipts without being bulky.
• Material: Durable covers (often wipeable) help with frequent handling in busy service.
• Bulk options: Multi-packs can be practical for outfitting a team or replacing worn pieces.
• Care: Wipe with a damp cloth as needed; avoid harsh cleaners that may dull the finish.

Good storage helps your big check stay presentable for the next photo op.

• Keep it flat: Lay it flat or stand it upright against a flat surface to minimize bending.
• Avoid heat and moisture: Direct sun, trunk heat, or humidity can warp cardboard or mark glossy surfaces.
• Use protection: A portfolio case, plastic sleeve, or clean sheet between stacked items can prevent scuffs.
• Clean first: For dry erase checks, wipe ink off before storing to help reduce staining.
• Transport carefully: Use a rigid mailer or foam board backing when moving it between venues.

Label a spot in your office or supply closet so it’s easy to find later.
