Adding lights to your poster is a fun way to make it stand out. Here’s how you can do it safely and easily:

1. Choose the right lights: Look for battery-operated or USB-powered string lights, clip lights, or small LED bars designed for wall displays.
2. Plan your layout: Decide where you want the lights—around the border, highlighting specific areas, or behind the poster for a glow effect.
3. Attach carefully: Use removable adhesive hooks, clips, or magnetic fixtures to avoid damaging your poster or wall.
4. Power up: Insert batteries or connect to a USB outlet, then switch on and adjust brightness as needed.

Always follow the product’s safety instructions and avoid covering lights with flammable materials.

Most people don’t experience dizziness from LED poster lights, but some may be sensitive to certain light flickers or color temperatures. If you notice discomfort:

• Try adjusting the brightness or color temperature if your lights have those options.
• Avoid direct eye contact with the LEDs, especially in dark rooms.
• Use warm white or soft light settings for a gentler effect.

If dizziness or headaches persist, consider turning off the lights or consulting a medical professional for personalized advice.

When lighting posters or artwork, a common guideline is to choose a light that’s about half the width of your poster. Here are a few tips:

• Position the light about 6-12 inches above the poster for even coverage.
• Angle the light downward to minimize glare and shadows.
• Use dimmable options so you can adjust brightness based on your room’s lighting.

These suggestions can help you highlight your poster without overpowering it, but you can always adjust to fit your style and space.

To display posters with lights, start by selecting a spot with easy access to power if needed. Here’s how to create an eye-catching setup:

1. Mount your poster securely using frames, adhesive strips, or poster putty.
2. Add lighting with string lights, clip-on LEDs, or picture lights placed around or above the poster.
3. Experiment with placement to highlight colors or details you want to stand out.
4. Keep cords tidy and out of sight for a clean look.

This approach can turn your poster into a focal point in any room.

Many poster lights, especially LED and battery-operated types, are designed to be energy-efficient and produce minimal heat. However, for safety:

• Check if your lights have a built-in timer or auto-off feature to prevent them from staying on too long.
• Keep lights away from flammable materials and ensure they’re not covered while in use.
• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for safe operation and battery use.

If you’re not sure, it’s a good idea to turn off or unplug your lights when you’re not around.
