Choosing the right size poly box depends on what you plan to store. Start by gathering your items and measuring their combined size. Consider if you need extra space for organizing or if you'd like the box to fit on a particular shelf.

• Measure your items' length, width, and height.
• Check the listed dimensions of the storage box.
• Think about stackability or portability for your space.

Going a little bigger can help if you want room to add more later. Always check your available storage area at home or work before buying.

Poly boxes are often used to store important papers because they're durable and protect against dust and spills. Many options are sized for letter or legal documents and include features like latching lids or hanging file support.

• Look for boxes labeled as 'file organizers' or 'portable file boxes.'
• Choose clear versions if you want to easily see contents.
• Consider options with handles if you need to move them around.

While these boxes offer protection, storing very valuable documents in a fireproof safe may add extra security.

Cleaning a plastic storage bin is pretty straightforward. Remove all items first, then wash the bin with mild soap and warm water using a soft sponge or cloth.

• Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
• Dry completely before adding items back in to help prevent moisture buildup.

Avoid using harsh abrasives, as they might scratch the plastic surface. For tough spots, a little baking soda can help without damaging the bin.

Many poly storage boxes are designed to be stackable, especially those with flat lids or built-in grooves. When stacking, make sure each box is closed securely and heavier boxes are on the bottom.

• Check the product details for stackability features.
• Don't overload boxes to keep stacks stable.
• If boxes have handles or latches, ensure they're fully secured before stacking.

It's a good idea to place the stack against a wall or in a corner for extra stability.

Mini plastic crates are handy for organizing smaller items in the office, classroom, or home. You can use them for:

• Office supplies like pens, notepads, and paperclips
• Craft materials such as yarn or markers
• Small toys or kids' art supplies
• Bathroom products like toiletries

The open design makes it easy to see and grab what you need. Be sure not to overload them to keep handles and sides in good shape.
