Many people enjoy swimming in plastic pools during the late morning or early afternoon, when the sun is out and the water is warmer. However, it's a good idea to avoid peak sun hours (typically 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to reduce the risk of sunburn, especially for kids. Early evening can also be a comfortable time, as the sun is less intense but the water still holds warmth. Always remember to use sunscreen and keep an eye on the weather for the safest and most enjoyable experience.

Backyard plastic pools are commonly known as kiddie pools, inflatable pools, or above-ground pools. Some are also referred to as foldable pools or pet pools if they're designed for both kids and pets. These pools come in a variety of shapes and sizes, making them a popular choice for families looking for easy, temporary water fun in their outdoor space.

Chlorine is sometimes used in pools to help keep the water clean, but for some people, exposure to chlorine can lead to throat irritation. This may happen if you spend a lot of time in the pool or accidentally swallow pool water. If you notice a sore throat after swimming, it might help to rinse your mouth with fresh water and take breaks from swimming. If symptoms persist or worsen, consider consulting a medical professional for advice.

Choosing the right size plastic pool depends on a few factors:

• Available space: Measure your yard or patio to ensure the pool fits comfortably.
• Number of users: Think about how many people (kids or adults) will use it at once.
• Intended use: Some pools are designed for wading, while others are deep enough for swimming or playing games.
• Storage: Consider how you'll store the pool when not in use, especially if it's inflatable or foldable.

Review product dimensions and descriptions to find the best fit for your needs.

Keeping a plastic pool clean helps everyone enjoy safe water play. Here are some tips:

• Empty and refill the pool regularly, especially for smaller pools.
• Use a skimmer net to remove leaves or debris from the water.
• Wipe down the pool sides with a soft cloth and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly.
• Cover the pool when not in use to keep out dirt and bugs.

Following these steps can help maintain a fresh and inviting pool for your family.
