Petlibro RFID feeders are designed to work specifically with the included RFID collar tags. Using other RFID tags may not be compatible, as the feeder recognizes only the tags provided by the manufacturer. This helps ensure accurate pet identification and meal personalization. If you need extra tags or replacements, it's best to look for official accessories that match your feeder model. Always check the product details or packaging for compatibility information before purchasing additional tags.

The Petlibro RFID system uses a collar tag that communicates with the feeder or water fountain. When your cat wearing the tag approaches, the device detects the unique RFID signal and responds accordingly—like dispensing food or allowing access to water. This technology helps ensure that each pet gets the right meal or access, which is especially helpful in multi-pet homes. For best results, make sure the tag is securely attached to your pet's collar and within the recommended range of the device.

No subscription is required to use Petlibro RFID feeders. The core features, such as automatic feeding and pet recognition, work out of the box with the included hardware and app. Some advanced features, like remote app control or activity tracking, may require Wi-Fi and a compatible smartphone, but there are no ongoing fees for basic operation. Always review the product details to understand which features are included and which require internet connectivity.

Petlibro RFID feeders can continue to dispense scheduled meals even if your Wi-Fi is temporarily unavailable. The feeder stores your programmed feeding times and will operate as usual, but you won't be able to make changes or monitor activity through the app until the connection is restored. For uninterrupted service, it's a good idea to double-check your feeding schedule in the app when Wi-Fi is available.

• Unplug the fountain and disassemble all removable parts, including the stainless steel bowl and filter.
• Wash each part with warm, soapy water, using a soft brush or sponge to remove debris.
• Rinse thoroughly to ensure no soap residue remains.
• Wipe the RFID sensor area gently with a damp cloth—avoid submerging electronic components.
• Let all parts air dry before reassembling and refilling with fresh water.

Regular cleaning can help maintain water quality and keep the fountain running smoothly. Always refer to the user manual for model-specific instructions.
