Choosing the right size PBR hat depends on the style you’re interested in. Many options, like snapback and adjustable hats, are designed as 'one size fits most' and feature adjustable straps or snaps for a custom fit. For fitted hats, check the product description for sizing details—these usually list the hat size in inches or standard hat sizes (like 7 or 7 1/8). If you’re unsure, you can measure your head with a soft tape measure just above your ears and compare it to the sizing chart provided on the product page.

To keep your PBR hat looking fresh, it’s best to spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals or tossing it in the washing machine, as this can damage the shape and materials. For mesh or trucker hats, gently brushing off dust and letting them air dry works well. Always check the care instructions on the tag, since some specialty hats, like felt or structured styles, may need extra care or professional cleaning.

Many PBR hats are designed with outdoor use in mind. Styles like trucker hats and snapbacks often feature breathable mesh panels and adjustable closures, making them comfortable for golf, hiking, or casual outings. Some hats also have visors to help shield your eyes from the sun. While they’re great for everyday wear, keep in mind that extended exposure to moisture or harsh weather can affect the hat’s appearance over time.

Most PBR hats available at Walmart offer adjustable features, such as snapback closures, Velcro straps, or rope adjustments, allowing you to customize the fit for comfort. However, some styles, like fitted felt hats, come in specific sizes and don’t have adjustable bands. It’s a good idea to check the product details to see if the hat you’re interested in is adjustable or fitted, so you can choose what works best for you.

To help your PBR hat keep its shape, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Placing it on a hat rack or shelf, rather than stacking it under heavy items, can prevent it from getting crushed. For structured or felt hats, using a hat form or gently stuffing the crown with tissue paper can help maintain its form. Regularly dusting your hat will also keep it looking its best for longer.
