Pricing can vary a lot based on the style and features you choose. Instead of focusing on a single number, compare what matters most to you.

• Form factor: Full upright cabinets typically run higher than tabletop or handheld options.
• Screen and build: Larger displays (for example, around 15–17 inches on uprights) and premium panels can influence price.
• Game count: Units that bundle multiple classics often cost more than single‑game versions.
• Connected features: Wi‑Fi leaderboards and updates may add cost.
• Condition: New, open‑box, and pre‑owned listings can be priced differently.

Start by measuring your room and planning clearances. A bit of prep can help you pick the right format.

1. Measure the footprint: Full uprights are often around 4–5 feet tall and need floor space in front for players. Allow room to open doors and move comfortably.
2. Consider compact styles: Countertop units and cocktail tables take less space; some mini cabinets use screens around 8 inches and fit on a desk or shelf.
3. Plan clearance: Leave a few inches around the machine for ventilation and cable routing.
4. Check specs: Review the dimensions and weight on the product page to confirm fit through doorways and into your game area.

Assembly can vary by model, but many home units are designed for straightforward setup.

1. Unbox and inventory: Lay out panels, hardware, and the control deck. Compare with the instruction manual before starting.
2. Build the cabinet: Attach side panels and supports using the included hardware. A manual screwdriver is usually recommended.
3. Install components: Mount the monitor panel, connect labeled cables, and secure the control deck.
4. Safety tips: Use two people for lifting larger pieces and avoid overtightening. Place the unit on a level surface.
5. Power up and test: Plug into a grounded outlet, then run a quick button and audio check. Smaller tabletop or handheld units may only require batteries or a power adapter.

Actual setup time varies—always follow the model’s manual.

Each format offers a different balance of space, immersion, and portability.

• Upright cabinets: Arcade‑style height with larger screens (often around 15–17 inches). Full‑size controls and a room‑ready presence; best for game rooms.
• Countertop units: Smaller footprint for desks or shelves. Scaled‑down controls and screens; easy to move and store.
• Cocktail/tabletop: Low‑profile, head‑to‑head play on a table surface. Great for shared spaces and sit‑down gaming.
• Handheld devices: Pocketable or portable players, sometimes battery‑powered, ideal for travel and quick sessions.
• Features: Larger formats may include multi‑game menus and online leaderboards, while compact models focus on pick‑up‑and‑play convenience.

Compare the specs to match the format to your space and play style.

• Manual and part IDs: Use the included guide to identify part numbers before requesting replacements.
• Order info: Keep your order number, photos, and the unit’s serial label handy when contacting support.
• Returns and exchanges: Review the retailer’s return window in your account and on the item page.
• Third‑party parts: If considering aftermarket buttons or joysticks, review warranty terms first, as modifications may affect coverage.
