Using a bottle capper is pretty straightforward, whether you're bottling beer, soda, or other beverages. First, make sure your bottles and caps are clean and dry. Place the cap on the bottle, then position the bottle under the capper. If you're using a bench capper, adjust the height so the capper sits snugly on the cap. Press down firmly to seal the cap onto the bottle. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific model to get the best results and avoid damaging bottles.

Most bottle cappers are designed to handle standard bottle sizes, but some models offer adjustable features for different heights and neck widths.

• Bench cappers often have adjustable mechanisms for various bottle heights.
• Handheld cappers may be limited to certain sizes.

Keeping your bottle capper clean helps ensure safe and reliable bottling.

1. After each use, wipe down the surfaces with a damp cloth.
2. For sticky residue, use mild soap and water, avoiding harsh chemicals.
3. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust, especially on metal parts.

While a bottle capper is the main tool, you might find a few accessories helpful.

• Bottle caps: Make sure they're compatible with your bottles and capper.
• Sanitizing equipment: Clean bottles and caps before use.
• Extra parts: Some cappers come with replacement springs or magnetic hoods.

If your bottle capper gets stuck or jammed, try these steps:

1. Stop using force to avoid damaging the tool or bottle.
2. Check for any misaligned parts or debris blocking the mechanism.
3. Gently clean and lubricate moving parts if needed.
4. Refer to the user manual for troubleshooting tips specific to your model.
