Choosing the right moving roller size depends on what you need to move. Here are some tips to help you decide:

• Check the weight capacity: Make sure the roller can handle the heaviest item you plan to move.
• Measure your furniture or equipment: The roller should fit comfortably under the item for safe transport.
• Consider maneuverability: Smaller rollers are great for tight spaces, while larger ones offer more stability for bulky items.
• Look at wheel type: Swivel wheels make it easier to turn corners, while fixed wheels are better for straight paths.

Always review the product details for dimensions and weight limits before making a choice.

Many moving rollers can be used on carpet, but performance may vary depending on the wheel type and carpet thickness. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• Hard wheels: These may roll less smoothly on thick or plush carpet.
• Soft or rubber wheels: These often glide better on carpeted surfaces and help prevent snags.
• Weight distribution: Heavier items may sink into soft carpet, so choose rollers with a larger surface area for better support.

Always test the roller on a small area first to make sure it moves easily and doesn't damage your flooring.

To use a furniture dolly safely, follow these guidelines:

• Inspect the dolly: Make sure the wheels and frame are in good condition before loading.
• Center the load: Place your item in the middle of the dolly to keep it balanced and reduce tipping risk.
• Secure the item: Use straps or bungee cords if needed to keep things from shifting during transport.
• Push, don’t pull: Pushing gives you more control and helps prevent injury.
• Move slowly: Take your time, especially around corners or on ramps.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for safe use and weight limits.

Storing moving rollers properly helps keep them in good shape for your next project. Here’s how:

• Clean the wheels: Wipe off dirt or debris to prevent buildup.
• Dry before storing: Make sure rollers are dry to avoid rust or corrosion.
• Stack or hang: If possible, stack smaller rollers or hang them on a wall to save space and prevent damage.
• Keep in a dry area: Store rollers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or moisture.

Regular maintenance can extend the life of your moving equipment.

Replacement parts like wheels, casters, or handles may be available depending on the specific moving roller model. Here’s what you can do:

• Contact customer service: If you’re unsure, reach out to Walmart’s support team for help finding the right part.
