Side scroll on a mouse lets you move left and right across wide documents, spreadsheets, or web pages without using your keyboard. Many mice with side scroll have a dedicated wheel or button for horizontal movement, making it easier to navigate large files or creative projects. This feature can help boost productivity, especially if you often work with wide layouts or need to review content that doesn't fit on one screen. Not all mice include side scroll, so it's a good idea to check the product details if this function is important for your workflow.

• First, insert the included USB receiver into your computer's USB port or activate Bluetooth pairing if your mouse supports it.
• Turn on the mouse using the power switch, usually found on the bottom.
• Your computer should automatically detect the mouse. For Bluetooth models, follow your device's pairing instructions.
• Once connected, you can start using the mouse, including the side scroll feature, right away.

If you have trouble, check the battery or make sure the mouse is within range of your device. Some mice may require driver installation for advanced features.

Yes, most side scroll mice are compatible with Mac computers. Many connect via USB receiver or Bluetooth, and basic functions like clicking and scrolling usually work right away. For side scroll and programmable buttons, you might need to adjust settings in your Mac's system preferences or install additional software provided by the mouse manufacturer. Always check the product description for compatibility details to make sure the mouse will work with your specific Mac model and operating system.

1. Install any software that comes with your mouse, as this often unlocks customization options.
2. Open the software and look for settings related to the side scroll wheel or buttons.
3. You can usually adjust the scroll speed, assign different actions, or even disable the feature if you prefer.
4. Some operating systems also let you tweak mouse settings directly in their control panels.

Customizing your mouse can help tailor it to your workflow, but available options may vary depending on the model.

• First, check the mouse battery or recharge it if needed.
• Try reconnecting the mouse or plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
• Restart your computer to refresh device connections.
• If the issue continues, update or reinstall the mouse drivers or software.
• Review your device's settings to make sure side scroll is enabled.

If these steps don't help, consult the user manual or reach out to the manufacturer's support for further troubleshooting.
