Moth balls are designed to help keep clothes safe from damage caused by clothes moths and carpet beetles. When placed in sealed storage areas like closets, drawers, or garment bags, moth balls slowly release vapors that can deter these pests. For best results, always follow the instructions on the packaging and make sure the area is tightly closed so the vapors stay concentrated. This can help reduce the risk of holes or damage to your favorite sweaters, coats, and other stored fabrics.

For effective use, place moth balls in airtight containers or sealed storage spaces with your clothing or fabric items. Good spots include garment bags, storage bins, or tightly closed drawers. Avoid using them in open areas or where people and pets spend time, as the vapors are meant to stay contained. Always check the product instructions for specific placement tips and safety guidelines to help protect your belongings while using moth balls responsibly.
