Before picking up a Surface Pro, it helps to consider how you'll use it. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• 2-in-1 Design: Surface Pro devices work as both a tablet and a laptop, so they're great for flexibility.
• Operating System: They run Windows, making them compatible with most software you might need for work or school.
• Accessories: Some features, like the keyboard or stylus, may be sold separately.
• Performance: Different models offer varying processors, RAM, and storage—choose what fits your needs.
• Portability: They're lightweight and easy to carry, perfect for travel or commuting.

While Surface Pro devices offer a lot of versatility, there are a few things to consider:

• Keyboard Sold Separately: The detachable keyboard is often not included and must be purchased separately.
• Limited Ports: Surface Pro models usually have fewer ports than traditional laptops, which might require adapters for some accessories.
• Battery Life: Battery performance varies by model and usage, so heavy users may need to recharge more often.
• Repairability: Some models can be harder to repair or upgrade compared to standard laptops.

Weighing these factors can help you decide if a Surface Pro fits your needs.

Surface Pro devices blend the features of a tablet and a laptop. Here’s how they stack up against traditional laptops:

• Portability: Surface Pros are lighter and more compact, making them easy to carry.
• Versatility: The detachable keyboard and touchscreen let you switch between typing and touch input.
• Performance: Many models offer similar processing power to laptops, but some high-end laptops may outperform them for demanding tasks.
• Ports and Upgrades: Laptops often have more ports and are easier to upgrade.

Your choice depends on whether you value flexibility or need more traditional laptop features.

Absolutely! Surface Pro devices are designed to function as both a tablet and a laptop. You can:

• Detach or fold back the keyboard to use it as a touchscreen tablet for browsing, drawing, or reading.
• Attach the keyboard to type emails, work on documents, or multitask like you would on a laptop.
• Use the built-in kickstand to prop up the device for comfortable viewing or typing.

This flexibility makes the Surface Pro a popular choice for users who want one device for multiple tasks.

At Walmart, you’ll find both new and restored (refurbished) Surface Pro devices. Here’s what sets them apart:

• New: These are brand-new devices, straight from the manufacturer, with full packaging and accessories.
• Restored: These devices have been professionally inspected, cleaned, and restored to good working condition. They may show minor signs of use and often come with a warranty for peace of mind.

Choosing between new and restored depends on your budget and preference for condition.
