Not every Surface Pro keyboard fits all models. Compatibility depends on the Surface Pro generation and keyboard design. For example, keyboards made for newer Surface Pro devices may not connect properly with older models due to changes in size, connector type, or features like pen storage. Before purchasing, check your device's model number and review the product details to ensure the keyboard will work with your Surface Pro. If you’re unsure, you can filter by device compatibility or ask a Walmart associate for help finding the right match.

If your Surface keyboard isn’t working, a few things could be causing the issue:

• Connection: Make sure the keyboard is securely attached or paired via Bluetooth.
• Battery: Recharge or replace the keyboard’s battery if it’s wireless.
• Software: Restart your device and check for software updates.
• Debris: Gently clean the connector area to remove dust or dirt.

If these steps don’t help, try the keyboard with another compatible device to rule out hardware issues. For ongoing problems, consider reaching out to the device manufacturer’s support team.

Surface keyboards offer a range of features to fit different needs. Some include:

• Backlit keys for typing in low light
• Integrated trackpads for easy navigation
• Pen storage to keep your stylus handy
• Wireless or magnetic connections for flexibility
• Multiple color options to match your style

When choosing, think about your workflow—like whether you need portability, extra battery life, or specific shortcuts. Reading product details and customer reviews can help you find the best fit for your setup.

Connecting a Surface keyboard is usually quick:

• For magnetic keyboards: Align the keyboard’s connector with the Surface device’s port. It should snap into place automatically.
• For Bluetooth keyboards: Turn on the keyboard, enable Bluetooth on your Surface, and select the keyboard from the available devices list.

Once connected, your device should recognize the keyboard right away. If you’re having trouble, check the user manual for model-specific instructions or visit Walmart’s support resources for more help.

Keeping your Surface keyboard clean helps it last longer and work better. Here’s how:

• Unplug or turn off the keyboard before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keys and surface.
• For stubborn spots, lightly dampen the cloth with water (avoid harsh cleaners).
• Use compressed air to remove debris from between keys.

Regular cleaning can prevent buildup and keep your keyboard looking and feeling fresh. Always check the care instructions that come with your keyboard for best results.
