Menu holders come in a variety of styles to suit different needs.

• Acrylic holders: Clear and sturdy, perfect for displaying menus or signs on countertops.
• Leather covers: Often used in restaurants for a more upscale look and added durability.
• Table tent holders: Triangular stands great for displaying drink or dessert menus.
• Wall-mounted racks: Ideal for organizing multiple menus or documents in busy spaces.
• Wooden stands: Provide a rustic touch for events or cafes.

A menu card is sometimes called a guest check presenter, menu cover, or menu folder. In restaurants, these terms refer to the item used to display or present the menu to customers. You might also hear names like table tent or menu board depending on the format and setting. The right term often depends on whether it’s used for food menus, drink lists, or check presentation.

Choosing the right size depends on the paper or menu you want to display.

• Most menu holders fit standard sizes like 8.5" x 11" or 4" x 6".
• Measure your menu or sign before shopping to ensure a good fit.
• If you’re displaying multiple pages, look for holders with pockets or larger dimensions.
• For countertop displays, smaller holders work well for specials or drink lists, while larger ones suit full menus.

Menu holders are made from several materials, each offering different benefits.

• Acrylic: Clear, durable, and easy to clean—great for high-traffic areas.
• Plastic: Lightweight and affordable, suitable for casual settings.
• Leather or PU leather: Adds a touch of elegance and protects menus from spills.
• Metal: Sturdy and ideal for outdoor or heavy-duty use.
• Wood: Perfect for rustic or themed environments.

Keeping menu holders clean is simple and helps maintain a professional appearance.

• For acrylic or plastic holders, wipe them down with a soft cloth and mild soap.
• Leather covers can be cleaned with a damp cloth—avoid harsh chemicals.
• Metal holders may be wiped with a dry or slightly damp cloth to prevent rust.
• Always dry holders thoroughly to avoid water spots or damage.
