Choosing the right size map frame depends on the dimensions of your map or artwork. Start by measuring the width and height of your piece, including any borders you want to show.

• For a snug fit, select a frame that matches your map's exact size.
• If you prefer a matted look, pick a larger frame and add a mat board for extra style.
• Check the product details for frame opening sizes to ensure compatibility.

Taking a few minutes to measure can help you find a frame that highlights your map and fits your space perfectly.

Many map frames, especially lightweight or magnetic poster hangers, can be hung without nails using adhesive strips or hooks.

• Check the frame's weight and back design to see if it's suitable for adhesive solutions.
• For heavier or glass-front frames, nails or wall anchors may provide better support.
• Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe hanging and to protect your walls.

Using the right hanging method can help you display your map securely and avoid wall damage.

To keep your map frame looking its best, use gentle cleaning methods:

• For wood or metal frames, wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
• If your frame has plexiglass or glass, use a non-abrasive glass cleaner sprayed onto a cloth (not directly on the frame).
• Avoid harsh chemicals or soaking the frame, as this can damage finishes or artwork.

Regular dusting and careful cleaning can help maintain your frame’s appearance over time.

Magnetic poster hangers are designed to hold maps and prints gently without puncturing or damaging the paper.

• The magnets grip the top and bottom edges, so there’s no need for tape or pins.
• For especially delicate or valuable maps, consider placing a protective sheet between the map and the magnets.
• Always handle your map with clean hands to avoid smudges or creases.

This approach can help you display your map safely while keeping it in great condition.

Most map frames and magnetic poster hangers are designed for easy artwork changes.

• Magnetic hangers let you slide out one map and insert another in seconds.
• Traditional frames with back tabs or swivel clips also allow for quick swaps, though you may need to remove the backing.
• Always handle your maps carefully to avoid bending or tearing during the process.

This flexibility makes it simple to refresh your decor or update your display whenever you like.
