Choosing the right size LSU flag depends on where you plan to display it. For outdoor flagpoles, a 3' x 5' flag is a popular choice and fits most standard poles. If you're decorating a garden or yard, smaller flags like 12" x 18" or 28" x 40" work well. For indoor spaces or dorm rooms, mini pennants or 2' x 3' banners are easy to hang and don't take up much space. Consider measuring your display area before purchasing to make sure the flag fits your needs.

Many LSU flags are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, but their durability can vary based on the material. Polyester flags, especially those labeled as thicker or heavy-duty, tend to hold up better in different weather conditions. However, exposure to strong sun, wind, or rain over time may cause fading or wear. For the best longevity, you might want to bring your flag indoors during severe weather or when not in use for extended periods.

Most LSU flags come with brass grommets or a sleeve for easy hanging. For flags with grommets, use flagpole clips or hooks to attach them securely to a pole. If your flag has a sleeve, simply slide it onto a compatible pole or stick. For indoor display, lightweight flags can be hung with adhesive hooks or tacks, but always check the flag's weight and your wall's surface to avoid damage. Make sure the flag is displayed flat and not twisted for the best look.

To keep your LSU flag looking its best, hand washing with mild detergent and cold water is usually recommended. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the fabric and colors. After washing, let the flag air dry completely before storing or rehanging. If your flag is exposed to outdoor elements, regular cleaning can help maintain its appearance. Always check any care instructions that come with your specific flag for the best results.
