Lined paper is often called filler paper, notebook paper, or loose-leaf paper. The name can change based on the ruling style, like wide ruled, college ruled, or graph ruled for grid patterns. You'll also see it described by features such as 3-hole punched for binder use or reinforced for extra durability. These terms help you find the right type for school, office, or creative projects when shopping at Walmart.

Lined paper is popular because it helps keep handwriting neat and organized. The horizontal lines guide your writing, making it easier to read notes, lists, or assignments. Many people use lined paper for:

• Taking class or meeting notes
• Writing essays or reports
• Journaling or creative writing
• Organizing to-do lists

Different rulings, like wide or college ruled, let you pick what fits your writing style best. It's a staple for students, professionals, and anyone who likes structured writing space.

Making your own lined paper is simple if you need a quick solution. Here are a few ways to do it:

1. Print Templates: Search online for free lined paper templates and print them on blank sheets.
2. Draw Lines: Use a ruler and pen to draw evenly spaced horizontal lines across blank paper.
3. Trace: Place a lined sheet under a blank one and trace the lines lightly.

Homemade lined paper can be handy for custom sizes or creative projects, but for consistent quality and convenience, pre-made options at Walmart are a great choice.

Lined paper comes in several sizes to fit different needs. The most common are:

• 8" x 10.5" – Standard for school and office binders
• 8.5" x 11" – Letter size, often used for legal pads and professional documents
• Mini and A5 sizes – Great for planners and smaller notebooks

Most lined paper is 3-hole punched for easy use in binders. Choosing the right size depends on your binder or notebook and how much space you need for writing.

The choice between wide ruled and college ruled paper depends on your writing style and needs:

• Wide ruled: Features more space between lines, making it easier for younger writers or those who prefer larger handwriting.
• College ruled: Has narrower lines, allowing more text per page—ideal for older students, professionals, or anyone who writes smaller.

Consider who will use the paper and the writing task. Both types are widely available at Walmart in various pack sizes and formats.
