Choosing the right laptop size depends on how you plan to use it. Here are a few things to consider:

• Portability: If you travel often or need something lightweight, a 13- to 14-inch laptop can be easier to carry.
• Screen Space: For tasks like watching movies or multitasking, a 15- to 17-inch screen offers more room.
• Workspace: Think about your desk or bag size to make sure the laptop fits comfortably.

Trying out different sizes in-store can help you find what feels best for your needs.

The main difference is how they store and access data:

• SSD (Solid State Drive): Uses flash memory, making it faster for booting up and opening files. It’s also quieter and more resistant to bumps.
• HDD (Hard Disk Drive): Uses spinning disks, which can offer more storage for the price but are generally slower and heavier.

Many modern laptops come with SSDs for speed and reliability, but your choice depends on whether you need more space or faster performance.

Upgrading memory (RAM) or storage depends on the laptop model. Some laptops have slots or panels that let you add or replace components, while others have parts that are fixed in place.

• Check the product details or user manual for upgrade options.
• If you’re unsure, you can ask a Walmart associate or look for laptops labeled as "upgradeable."

Upgrading can help extend your laptop’s life, but it’s a good idea to confirm compatibility before purchasing extra parts.

To help your laptop battery last longer, try these tips:

• Avoid extreme temperatures: Keep your laptop away from heat or cold.
• Don’t keep it plugged in all the time: Let the battery cycle between charging and discharging occasionally.
• Adjust settings: Lower screen brightness and close unused apps to save power.

Following these habits can help maintain battery performance over time, but all batteries naturally wear out with use.

If your laptop feels sluggish, here are a few things you can try:

• Restart your laptop to clear temporary files.
• Close unused programs and browser tabs.
• Check for software updates or run a virus scan.
• Free up storage space by deleting old files or apps.

If these steps don’t help, you might consider upgrading memory or storage if your laptop allows it. For persistent issues, reaching out to tech support can provide more guidance.
