Kukri(57)

A kukri is a versatile tool that's popular for outdoor activities. You can use it for tasks like

• clearing brush
• camping chores
• gardening
• light chopping

Choosing the right kukri size depends on how you plan to use it.

• Smaller kukris (around 5-7 inches) are easier to handle for light tasks and portability.
• Larger kukris (10 inches or more) are better for heavy-duty chopping and outdoor work.

Kukri knives are generally available for purchase in the US, but local laws may vary. It's important to check regulations in your city or state regarding blade length and carrying knives. Some areas have restrictions on certain types of blades or how they can be carried in public. If you're unsure, research your local guidelines or contact authorities before buying or using a kukri.

Kukri handles are made from various materials like wood, horn, or synthetic options. Each material offers different benefits:

• Wood handles provide a classic look and comfortable grip.
• Horn handles are traditional and durable.
• Synthetic materials can offer extra durability and resistance to weather.

Proper care helps keep your kukri in good shape. After each use,

• clean the blade with a soft cloth
• avoid moisture to prevent rust
• store it in a dry place
