Keychain hooks are often called swivel snap hooks, lobster claw clasps, or carabiner clips, depending on their design. Swivel snap hooks rotate and are popular for lanyards and keychains, while lobster claw clasps have a spring-loaded mechanism for easy attachment. Carabiner clips are typically used for heavier items or outdoor activities. Each type serves a unique purpose, so choosing the right one depends on how you plan to use your keychain or accessory.

You can find a wide variety of keychain hooks at Walmart, both online and in stores.

• Browse the selection in the Bags & Accessories or Jewelry & Accessories sections.
• Look for multipacks if you're planning a DIY project or need extras for crafts.
• Use the search bar to filter by type, such as swivel snap hooks, lobster clasps, or carabiner clips.

If your keychain hook is broken, you have a few options:

1. For minor issues like a stuck clasp, try gently cleaning the mechanism with a soft cloth and a little rubbing alcohol.
2. If a spring or part is missing, replacement parts are sometimes available in craft stores or online.
3. For significant damage, it may be easier and safer to replace the entire hook. Many keychain hook kits come with extra pieces for this reason.

Keychains can be hung on a variety of items for convenience and style:

• Backpacks and purses using D-rings or zipper pulls
• Belt loops for easy access
• Wall hooks or key racks at home or the office
• Lanyards for work badges or school IDs

Choosing the right keychain hook size depends on what you plan to carry and where you'll use it.

• Small hooks are great for lightweight items like jewelry or a few keys.
• Medium hooks work well for everyday keychains or lanyards.
• Large or heavy-duty hooks are best for holding multiple keys, tools, or attaching to backpacks and outdoor gear.
