When an iPhone 12 Pro Max is listed as carrier unlocked, it means the phone isn't tied to any specific mobile carrier. You can use it with most major carriers by simply inserting your compatible SIM card. This gives you flexibility if you want to switch providers or use the phone while traveling internationally. Before purchasing, it's a good idea to check with your preferred carrier to make sure the device will work with their network and services.

Restored iPhone 12 Pro Max devices available at Walmart go through a process to ensure they're in working condition. These phones are inspected, cleaned, and tested for functionality. While cosmetic wear may be present, they should operate as expected. For added peace of mind, look for details about any included warranty or return policy on the product page. If you have questions about a specific device, Walmart's customer service can provide more information.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max supports dual SIM functionality, allowing you to use both a physical nano-SIM and an eSIM at the same time. This can be helpful if you want to keep work and personal numbers on one device or use a local SIM while traveling. Availability of eSIM features may depend on your carrier and region, so it's best to check with your provider to confirm compatibility and activation steps.

Before purchasing a pre-owned iPhone 12 Pro Max, consider the following:

• Carrier compatibility: Make sure the phone works with your carrier.
• Storage capacity: Choose the right amount of storage for your needs.
• Device condition: Review product photos and descriptions for any signs of wear.
• Return policy: Check Walmart's return and warranty options for added confidence.

These steps can help you find a device that fits your needs and expectations.

Transferring data to your new iPhone 12 Pro Max can be done in a few ways:

1. Quick Start: Place your old iPhone near the new one and follow on-screen instructions for a wireless transfer.
2. iCloud Backup: Back up your old device to iCloud, then restore the backup during setup on your new phone.
3. Wired Transfer: Use a cable to connect both devices and move data directly.

Make sure both devices are charged and connected to Wi-Fi for a smooth process. If you need help, Apple’s support site offers step-by-step guides.
