Product recalls can happen from time to time, but as a retailer, Walmart recommends checking the official manufacturer’s website or the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) site for the most up-to-date recall information. If you’ve purchased an Instant Vortex air fryer from Walmart and have concerns, you can also contact Walmart Customer Care for guidance. Always register your appliance with the manufacturer to receive direct updates about recalls or safety notices.

People may choose to part with their air fryers for several reasons, including limited kitchen space, changes in cooking habits, or upgrading to a newer model with more features. Some users find they don’t use their air fryer as often as expected, while others may prefer traditional cooking methods. If you’re considering an air fryer, think about your cooking style and kitchen needs to see if it’s a good fit for you.

Yes, you can generally use aluminum foil in an air fryer, but it’s important to follow a few safety tips:

• Only line the basket or tray, never block air vents.
• Make sure the foil is weighed down by food to prevent it from blowing around.
• Don’t cover the entire basket, as proper airflow is essential for even cooking.

Always check your air fryer’s user manual for specific guidelines, as recommendations can vary by model.

Cleaning your air fryer helps maintain performance and flavor. Here’s a simple process:

1. Unplug and let the appliance cool completely.
2. Remove the basket and tray, then wash them with warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher if they’re dishwasher-safe.
3. Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth—avoid abrasive cleaners.
4. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.

Regular cleaning can help prevent buildup and keep your air fryer working smoothly.
