Most hoodies can be personalized with patches, but it's important to check the fabric type first. Cotton, polyester, and blends usually work well for iron-on or sew-on patches. For delicate or stretchy materials, self-adhesive patches may be a better choice. Always review the care label on your hoodie before applying a patch, and test a small area if you're unsure. Using the right method helps the patch stay secure and keeps your hoodie looking great.

To repair a hole in your hoodie, start by choosing a patch that's slightly larger than the damaged area.

1. Clean and dry the hoodie.
2. Place the patch over the hole, making sure it covers the edges completely.
3. Follow the application instructions—iron-on, sew-on, or self-adhesive.
4. Press firmly or sew around the edges for extra durability.

There are several patch types you can use to decorate or repair hoodies:

• Iron-on patches: Easy to apply with heat, great for cotton or blends.
• Sew-on patches: Offer extra durability, ideal for thicker fabrics or frequent washing.
• Self-adhesive patches: Quick to stick on, perfect for temporary designs or delicate materials.

Hoodie patches have become a favorite among Gen Z because they allow for easy self-expression and creativity. Adding patches lets you personalize your look, showcase interests, or even support causes. The DIY aspect is appealing, and patches can be swapped out or layered for a fresh style. This trend fits well with Gen Z's love for customization and making fashion uniquely their own.

To help a patch stay secure on your hoodie, follow these tips:

• Choose the right patch type for your fabric—iron-on for cotton, sew-on for thicker materials, or adhesive for delicate fabrics.
• Apply with even pressure and heat if using iron-on patches.
• Sew around the edges for extra hold, especially if you plan to wash the hoodie often.
• Turn your hoodie inside out before washing and use gentle cycles to protect the patch.
