A cami top, short for camisole, is a lightweight, sleeveless shirt typically featuring thin straps. They're popular for layering under blouses, sweaters, or jackets, but can also be worn on their own for a relaxed, casual look. Camis come in many styles, including those with built-in bras, lace details, or cropped lengths. They're made from soft, breathable fabrics like cotton, modal, or blends, making them comfortable for everyday wear. Whether you're looking for an extra layer or a simple top for lounging, camis offer versatility and comfort in your wardrobe.

Half-camisoles are often called "half camis," "cropped camisoles," or "crop camis." These tops are designed to cover just the upper torso, usually ending above the waist or just below the bust. They're great for layering under low-cut tops, sheer shirts, or dresses where you want extra coverage without the bulk of a full-length cami. Half-camis come in various materials and may include features like built-in bras, adjustable straps, or lace trims for added style and support.

Whether you wear a cami with a bra depends on your comfort and the cami's design. Some camisoles have built-in bras or shelf bras, offering light support so you might not need an additional bra. Others are unlined and meant for layering, so you may choose to wear a bra underneath for more support. It's all about personal preference and the level of coverage or support you want. Checking the product description can help you decide which style works best for you.

To find the right size half cami, start by checking the size chart provided on the product page. Measure your bust and underbust, then compare those measurements to the chart. Consider the fabric's stretch—if it's a snug, stretchy material, you might prefer your usual size, but for a looser fit, sizing up can add comfort. Reading customer reviews can also offer helpful insights about fit. If you're between sizes, choosing the larger size can help ensure a comfortable, non-restrictive feel.
