Choosing the right fudge pan size depends on your recipe and how many servings you want. Here are a few tips to help:

• Check your recipe: Most recipes suggest a pan size, like 8-inch square or 9x13-inch rectangular.
• Consider batch size: For small batches, a smaller pan works best. For parties or gifts, a larger pan lets you make more at once.
• Think about pan depth: Deeper pans can give you thicker pieces, while shallow pans create thinner fudge squares.

Review your needs and match the pan size to your baking plans for best results.

Yes, silicone pans are a popular choice for making fudge. They offer several benefits:

• Easy release: Silicone's flexibility helps fudge pop out cleanly, reducing the risk of sticking.
• Simple cleanup: Most silicone pans are dishwasher safe, making cleanup quick and easy.
• Heat resistance: Silicone pans can handle a wide range of temperatures, so they're suitable for both setting fudge in the fridge and baking other treats.

Just make sure your pan is food-grade and follow your recipe's instructions for best results.

Lining your fudge pan helps with easy removal and cleanup. Here’s how you can do it:

• Use parchment paper: Cut a piece to fit the bottom and sides, leaving some overhang to lift the fudge out later.
• Try foil: Aluminum foil also works well and can be shaped to the pan’s corners.
• Lightly grease: If you’re not using a liner, a thin layer of butter or nonstick spray can help prevent sticking.

These steps can make removing and slicing your fudge much easier.

Cleaning a nonstick fudge pan is straightforward if you follow these steps:

• Let the pan cool: Allow it to reach room temperature before washing.
• Hand wash: Use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge to avoid scratching the nonstick surface.
• Avoid harsh tools: Skip abrasive pads or metal utensils, as they can damage the coating.
• Dry thoroughly: Make sure the pan is completely dry before storing to prevent rust or residue buildup.

Proper care can help your pan last longer and perform better for future batches.

Many fudge pans are labeled as dishwasher safe, especially those made from silicone or stainless steel. However, it’s a good idea to:

• Check the manufacturer’s instructions: Some nonstick coatings last longer with hand washing.
• Use gentle cycles: If you do use a dishwasher, select a gentle cycle to protect the pan’s finish.
• Inspect after washing: Make sure there’s no residue or water spots before storing.

Following these tips can help maintain your fudge pan’s quality over time.
