Choosing the right size splatter screen depends on the diameter of your frying pan or pot. Measure the pan across the top and look for a screen that matches or slightly exceeds that size. Many screens come in sets with multiple sizes, so you can cover different cookware.

• If you use several pans, a set offers flexibility.
• A snug fit helps block oil and grease splatters more effectively.
• Universal screens can work for a range of sizes, but make sure they sit securely.

Checking product descriptions can help you find the best match for your kitchen setup.

Cleaning a splatter screen is pretty straightforward.

• Let it cool before washing.

• Hang them on a hook or rack if they have handles.
• Stack flat screens in a drawer or cabinet with other lids.
