Shaping a foam bear for crafts is pretty simple and fun! Most foam bear shapes sold at Walmart are pre-cut, so you can start decorating right away. If you want to adjust the shape or add details, you can use a craft knife or fine-grit sandpaper to gently trim or smooth the foam. Always work slowly and carefully to avoid breaking the foam. For extra features, try attaching smaller foam pieces with craft glue. Remember to work on a protected surface and keep sharp tools away from children. These steps can help you personalize your foam bear for any project.

A foam bear and a plush bear are quite different in both feel and use.

• Foam bears are made from lightweight polystyrene or Styrofoam, making them ideal for painting, gluing, and other craft projects. They’re firm and keep their shape, so they’re great for decorations or modeling.
• Plush bears are soft, fabric-covered stuffed toys, usually meant for cuddling or display. They’re not designed for painting or heavy crafting.

Decorating a foam bear for a party is a creative way to add a personal touch! Here are some ideas:

1. Paint the foam bear with acrylic paints for bright colors.
2. Glue on sequins, glitter, or fabric for extra sparkle.
3. Wrap the bear with ribbon or tulle for a festive look.
4. Attach small flowers or themed accessories using craft glue.

Absolutely! Foam bear shapes are perfect for kids’ school projects. They’re lightweight, easy to handle, and can be painted or decorated with markers, stickers, or fabric. Kids can use them for science models, art displays, or themed presentations. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors, glue, or paint. These foam bears offer a fun, hands-on way for kids to express their creativity and learn through crafting.

To keep your unfinished foam bears in great shape, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Place them in a box or container to protect them from dust and accidental dents.
• Avoid stacking heavy items on top, as foam can compress or deform.
• If you’ve started decorating, let all paint or glue dry completely before storing.
